Yaniza is a bubbly singer-songwriter from NYC with roots in the Dominican Republic and St Kitts. She spreads joy and positivity through her acoustic pop songs, including fan favorites, “Contigo,” “Grateful,” and “Fly Away (Free Bird).” The latter is a sprightly ukulele tune brought to life by GRAMMY nominated producers, and a snippet of the song rapidly reached nearly one million views on TikTok leading to a surge in streams/plays across platforms.
It’s impossible to adequately sum up Yaniza’s decade-plus journey as a singer and songwriter. Since her start in 2013, she’s released albums and singles, gone on tour, performed at festivals and radio shows, worked with major brands, had songs appear in commercials and social campaigns, and started a private studio teaching music classes and lessons to learners of all ages.
After a year-long hiatus, fall of 2026 is seeing a revival for Yaniza’s music and of her overall drive as an artist. Her most recent introspective releases, “Dear Little Me” and “Realize” tease the serene sound that she’s currently developing. Fans can expect more whimsical, thought-provoking, fairy cottage vibes from Yaniza’s new music, as well as a renewed sense of purpose in creating a safe space for anyone who needs a warm hug in the form of a soothing song.
